It began production of the new 2011 Volvo V60

Volvo started producing yesterday the new V602 Sports Wagon, the Torslanda plant (Sweden). The V60 is, along with the new S60 sedan, the Volvo dynamic model to date. The maximum production of the plant will be about 240 units (per day) of V60. However, during the next few weeks will be produced about 60 a day, then, in mid-September, will increase production to more than 100 cars to get about 240 in November.The first prototype passed verification checks at the factory in January, as part of a pre-series. The Volvo V60 debuts now also the new process of global production of Volvo, known by the brand GPDS (Global Product Development System).
