2010 Seat Leon Cupra details

Based on a World Touring Car Champion, the new Leon CUPRA R elevates the idea of unrestrained power to new heights. This is due to the appetite of its formidable engine: the 2.0 TSI. With an almost unnatural 265 horsepower at its disposal, we had to restrain it to 250 km/h, although it’s capable of much more.

As befits a car with a race-inspired character, the Leon CUPRA R boasts all the special touches that embody its daredevil nature. Like 19” Potenza alloy wheels to stay grounded in the corners, and a specially configured suspension for supreme manoeuvrability and precision handling.

In the style department, the Leon CUPRA R is equally dashing. Distinctive CUPRA and R logos adorn the front grill bumper and air filter cover; and the rear wheelhouse mouldings confirm a racing spirit. Inside, you’ll find Supersport Alcantara bucket seats and a new instrument cluster with R logo. And the aluminium covered clutch, gas and brake pedals are just begging for action.

And because no Leon would be complete without the newest technology, the Leon CUPRA R comes equipped with parking and rain sensors, radio CD MP3 with controls in the steering wheel, and 8 speakers.
