Mitsubishi ASX: compact SUV to Burner-price Sales start in mid-June 2010


With the compact SUV called the Mitsubishi ASX brings a new competitor for the VW Tiguan and the Skoda Yeti on the market. Now the entry indicated.

Attractive offer
The initial version of the 4.30 meter long ASX is equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine, which makes 117 hp. This variant is available only with front-wheel drive and five-speed manual transmission. Several austerity measures as a start-stop system, an electric power steering, regenerative braking system and a low rolling resistance tires are standard equipment on board. For the price of 17,990 euros, the customer also gets seven airbags including driver's knee airbag, a hill-start assist, electric windows, CD radio with an RCA input, and a central locking with remote control. The competition in the form of the Skoda Yeti 1.2 TSI with 105 PS is exactly the same price, but offers fewer features.

Diesel four-wheel
Friends of the four-wheel drive can take from the sales start in mid-June 2010 1.8-liter version of a newly developed common rail diesel generation. The 150 hp Euro 5 engine with variable valve timing and six-speed manual transmission is available with front-wheel drive and vote. Rates for the Mitsubishi ignition has not yet announced.
