The new R 1190 RC8 2011 shows a sketch more noticeable and bad, more racing. The new look sees the initials of the model reproduced in large print, and the alternation of orange with white and black of the rest of the superstructure. Frame and wheels, are also orange. Technically, however a new crankshaft, a fuel injection system and dual-plug a new heavier flywheel, make the power increase from 168 to 175CV and increase torque up to 126Nm.
The 990 Adventure Dakar, we have already described a few days ago, and in addition to small items such as cuffs and revised PPG colored orange, alongside the new livery on the engine 115CV Adventure of R, while remaining with the features of the standard version, including ABS. It will, as announced, a limited edition to celebrate 30 years of KTM in the Dakar and will be priced not too dissimilar from the standard Adventure.
