At the Auto Show in Sao Paulo American automaker Chevrolet introduced a new compact crossover Agile Cross Sport. This off-road version of the hatchback Agile, which was developed in Argentina, built in Brazil and, according to top management of Brazilian General Motors, may be sold outside of South America.
The model of Agile was presented in concept form GPiX in 2008, and production was launched in 2009. In fact, Agile with a wheelbase of 2540 mm and a length of 4000 mm is a simplified version of the Chevrolet Aveo, writes "RBC daily». The standard model, which was originally intended for South America, is equipped with only one engine - I4 EconoFlex volume of 1.4 liters, which runs on a mixture of gasoline with ethanol or methanol. Later motor range can be expanded engines in 1.0 and 1.8 liters.
