European Gay Car of the Year 2011: Peugeot RCZ

Taking after the 500C Fiat, Peugeot RCZ is elected European Gay Car of the Year 2011 by beating the Citroen DS3 according to a poll conducted by the association "autofriendly" Ledorga.

Billed as "the French Audi TT line with a very marked especially at the rear fenders with pronounced wheel arches as the hips of sports roof arches which stand well to the body, a virile masculine sport line, and especially a domed roof in 2 parts very common on production automobile today, the Peugeot RCZ needed a short hood leading Citroen DS3 and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.

For the second year running, Citroën brand car gay elected in 2011 to Audi and BMW.

Principle of election
For a car to be eligible for the year 2011, just as it is a novelty sold between January 1 and December 31 of 2010.

All body types are identified: sedans, coupes, convertibles, minivans, station wagons or other. Are not considered commercial vehicles and body modifications that often occur in mid-career model. Similarly, as is the European gay car, are selected as the main models sold in Europe. Are excluded, cars or brands not imported or distributed on the old continent.

Finally, every year between November 15 and December 15, Ledorga Internet users are invited to submit their votes (of course, only one vote per person is possible). The winning car and the complete results of all models are unveiled on January 15 via the website Ledorga. It is therefore a popular vote and 100%, and not the result of a jury of journalists and celebrities.
