Los Angeles Auto Show 2010: A facelift for the 2011 Acura TSX

A facelift for the 2011 Acura TSX
Honda and Acura products are typically a mid-cycle freshening, and it was the turn of the TSX to get one.

For 2011, the TSX gets a front update: flap surrounds, fog lights and grille have all been redesigned, although the changes are very subtle. The taillights of the car and finish around the plate were also slightly retouched.

Inside the center console gets darker trim, door handles have a glossy finish and enjoys driving a new finish. The leather upholstery features contrast stitching, while rear-seat passengers will appreciate the improved ventilation with the addition of vents located behind the front armrest.

According to Acura, the TSX is quieter, thanks to the ice thicker and more insulated against noise. The technology group includes a revised navigation system, voice recognition and an improved hard drive for storing music.

The two engines, 4-cylinder 2.4-liter and 3.5-liter V6, benefit from reduced internal friction, resulting in better fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions. The 5-speed automatic gearbox adopts a hot fluid, making it more gentle in its operation in colder climates.
